Please could you supply a list of all stations served by TfL services (London Underground, London Overground, DLR, TfL Rail) that are "enclosed stations" for the purposes of section 12 of the Fire Precautions (Sub-Surface Railway Stations) Regulations 2009.

Please indicate which of these stations are underground (in the sense of being below the ground).

about enclosed stations.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that
we do hold the information you require.

 

Please find attached a list of section 12 London Underground stations. All
of these stations are below ground. I have also attached a map which
identifies these stations.

 

On London Overground there are 5 such stations as listed below:-

 

Dalston Junction

Shoreditch High Street (classed as sub-surface as more than 75% of
platform is in a tunnel)

Rotherhithe

Wapping

Shadwell

 

On Docklands Light Railway we have four enclosed stations:

 

Woolwich Arsenal Station

Cutty Sark Station

Island Gardens Station

Bank Station.

 

All four are below ground.

 

There are no Section 12 stations on TfL Rail.
