Seat on the Board

The request was successful.

Dear Post Office Limited,

What % of serving SPM are prevented from applying for a Board seat due to not meeting the 82% VOC requirement?Who proposed this figure?Do you have evidence that particularly since Covid customer feedback forums have become a whingers paradise and to that end what is the satisfaction rating as an average prior to March 2019 and afterwards?

Yours faithfully,

John Osullivan

Dear Information Rights Team,

I am puzzled by your reply. Are you saying everyone in the FOI team has been struck down with covid since an unspecified date in December and still are?How was i able to get replies on Jan 11th 14th 18th and 22nd that made no mention of these problems (best wishes to all by the way) .Curiously i had two responses on jan 22nd re Freedom of Information Requests – Freedom of Information Request – FOI2020/01002 from Jackie Lawrence just answering the question and another from the same person Freedom of Information Request – FOI2020/01001 saying you have problems with staff.on 1st Feb you say members of FOI team are absent with covid but on the 9th Feb you say they all are and have been since "mid december".What is the true version of events,i hope people arent breaking in and randomly answering FOI requests

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr O'Sullivan,

The Information Rights Team have been, and continue to be, impacted by
COVID since 9th December last year, and we have notified the ICO of this.
During this period we have been making every effort to maintain the
service we deliver despite the impact this has had on the wider team by
seconding individuals to assist with requests.  There are occasions, due
to either volume or complexity of requests, where unfortunately we do have
to inform you that your request will be delayed. We are continuing to work
on this particular request and hope to have it with you as soon as is
practical.

Kind regards

Dear Information Rights Team,

Thank you for the reply.Do you have a VOC figure for SPM for 2019-2020 showing how many were 82% or better?Post Office established a target of 82% for VOC which Postmasters should aim to
achieve for the first half of 20/21 financial year (April to September). This was
communicated to all Postmasters in April 2021. For consistency, we agreed to use the
same VOC metric as one of the initial eligibility criteria. The use of this metric was
signed off by the PO Board and our Shareholder.Should this be April 2020?I have no recollection of this messaage.Do you have a link to it or a copy of the e-mail?

Yours sincerely,

Dear Information Rights Team,

Thank you for the reply.Im not sure its true to say no SPM were prevented from applying when 29 were discounted straight away but we can all see whats happening.Im suprised you claim not to have any figures for VOC for the first half of this your ,your reply to FO120210003 suggests more than half of all branches miss the 82% target https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/7...
7049 branches out of 12514.What is the most up to date VOC scores you have and can you cnfirm the figures you supplied on Jan 8TH and the interpretation is correct?
Yours sincerely,

Dear Information Rights Team,
You say that the VOC % requirement was communicated to all SPM's but indirectly through the medium of letting all Area Managers know of the specification. What evidence have you that these AM's passed on the message? Why not tell SPM directly?A third of all applicants failed the VOC requirement, were they naive or uninformed?
