Dear Foi(0ce24) (UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST),

You refer to an attachment of the policy referred to however no attachment was provided. Please resend.

Please confirm the following as I dont understand your response. Please note that this is not an internal review request at this stage:

You state that within the realms of the request ,not a single member of the privately employed UCLH security team is female. Is this correct? Or do you mean the A&E security team are all male?

're DBS checks your response is unclear. When you state that the security guards have a 'standard DBS check ' do you mean that they are NOT subject to an enhanced DBS check as ALL other UCLH employees with patient contact are subject to?

Yours sincerely,

Alea

Dear Ms Lacta

Re: Ref No: FOI/2019/421 - Internal Review Response under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000

Thank you for your email dated 20th July 2019 requesting an Internal
Review under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You received the Trust's response to your original FOI request on 19th
June 2019. You then wrote to the Freedom of Information team on 23rd June
2019 to seek clarification on various aspects within that response. I
would like to reiterate your clarification questions below:

'You state that within the realms of the request, not a single member of
the privately employed UCLH security team is female. Is this correct? Or
do you mean the A&E security team are all male?

re DBS checks your response is unclear. When you state that the security
guards have a 'standard DBS check ' do you mean that they are NOT subject
to an enhanced DBS check as ALL other UCLH employees  with patient contact
are subject to?'

Following your request for clarification we obtained the additional
information on 28th June, but due to an administrative oversight this was
not sent out to you, of which I sincerely apologise.

I now attach the updated clarification response which provides the answers
in full. Once again, I do apologise for the oversight and I trust the
information provided to you now concludes the matter.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review then you
are entitled to write to the Information Commissioner's Office by
contacting:
