FOI, Royal Mail Group Limited

Dear Mr Cutts.

I am writing in relation to your request for information dated 09 November
2014. You have requested information concerning the number of Special
Delivery items sent from South Shields Post Office to HMRC on 22 July
2014. This information was requested under the provisions of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

Following the flotation of Royal Mail on the London Stock Exchange in
October 2013, it is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

by the government. However, now that the government has sold some of its
shares in Royal Mail, this is no longer the case. Therefore, we are no
longer obliged to respond to requests for information under the terms of
the Act.
