Darryl Chamberlain

Dear foi,

I am writing to request an internal review of Greenwich Borough Council's handling of my request 'Scrappage scheme' on the following grounds:

You have sent an undated copy of a letter posted on social media on the evening of Wednesday May 30, eleven and a half hours before the mayor of London announced changes to the Ulez scrappage scheme the following morning. You have not provided any detail of how this letter was sent, or when.

The Greater London Authority has confirmed in a separate response (their reference: MGLA020623-8874: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...), which was received within the legal timeframe on June 26, that no correspondence from Greenwich was received by the mayor's office by noon on Thursday June 1.

It appears that you have given me an inaccurate answer and that no correspondence was sent by noon on Thursday June 1.

You have taken 11 weeks to respond to this request, far in excess of the 20 working days cited under law, dragging this simple matter out unnecessarily. This alone is a breach of the Environmental Information Regulations and should be investigated.

Yours sincerely,

Darryl Chamberlain

foi, Greenwich Borough Council
