Scottish economic statistics January 2021?

We're waiting for Manfred Stobartson to read a recent response and update the status.

Manfred Stobartson

Dear Scottish Enterprise,

Scottish economic statistics January 2021!

1
Exports, you imply:
£34bn 2018 (and according to your 'publication' excludes oil & gas)

Real life:
Exports for 2020 = £27bn (including £8bn oil & gas exports, source HMRC / UKTRADEINFO)

a
Why are you using export figures for 2018 when it's now 2021?
b
What is the value of oil & gas excluded from 'your' 2018 'calculations'?
c
Why exclude oil & gas exports as it makes up a very large % of Scottish exports?
D
Provide a full list of exports of total value £34bn which doesn't include oil & gas to back up your original claim?

2
GDP
£163bn GDP (Q3 QNAS & includes £4bn contribution to GDP from UK defence spend)
Why are you using a figure of £167bn & which year are you implying there from?

3
Why pick and chose selective years and not most recent?

4
Are you under any obligation to publish impartial & truthful statistics?

Yours faithfully,

Manfred Stobartson
