Description : Schools which are not Academies

I acknowledge your request for information received on 2023-04-04
17:59:00.

Your request is being considered and you will receive the information
requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days (Freedom of
Information Act 2000/Environmental Information Regulations) or 1 month
from receipt (Data Protection access requests).

For your information, the Acts and Regulations define a number of
exemptions which may prevent release of the information you have
requested. There will be an assessment and if any of the exemption
categories apply then the information may not be released. In some
circumstances the decision to release information, or not, will be based
on a public interest test. You will be advised of any considerations,
subsequent decisions and your rights of appeal.

If the information you request contains reference to a third party then
they may be consulted prior to a decision being taken on whether or not to
release the information to you. You will be informed if this is the case,

I acknowledge your request for information received on 04/04/2023. In
accordance with Section 1 (1), (a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000,
I can confirm that we hold the information requested. Our response is as
follows:

Your Request

Can you please provide a single list of all Dudley schools which are not
in either an Academy (either Single Academy Trust or Multi Academy Trust).

Within the list also include the following:

- name of school

- headteacher of the school

- email contact for the school

- type of school (i.e. SEN, Primary, Secondary)

- Ofsted rating of school

- ages of pupils

- number of pupils

- number of staff

- whether the school is part of a federation, or other legal entity
(excluding SAT, MAT or independent school)

- whether the school is consulting on potential academy conversion (if so
who to)

Our Response

Please see attached spreadsheet.

Please note:

 1. The local authority are not the employer in Foundation or Voluntary
Aided School so cannot provide the figure for the number of staff, the
schools should be approached directly for this information
 2. There are no federated schools in the Local Authority
 3. The Local Authority do not hold information about which schools may be
consulting on potential academy conversion other than where these are
at a formal stage, those formally consulting are:

• Queen Victoria Primary School consulting with Stour Vale Academy Trust
• Thorns Primary School consulting with Excelsior Multi Academy Trust
• Fairhaven Primary School consulting with St Bartholomew's Multi
Academy Trust

request; it would be helpful if you could refine your request so that we
can advise what may be provided under the Freedom of Information Act and
any cost implications.
