Dear Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,

Can you please provide a single list of all Sandwell schools which are not
in either an Academy (either Single Academy Trust or Multi Academy Trust).

Within the list also include the following:

- name of school

- headteacher of the school

- email contact for the school

- type of school (i.e. SEN, Primary, Secondary)

- Ofsted rating of school

- ages of pupils

- number of pupils

- number of staff

- whether the school is part of a federation, or other legal entity
(excluding SAT, MAT or independent school)

- whether the school is consulting on potential academy conversion (if so
who to)

Re: your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

I write further to your request, which was received on 04 April 2023, for
information relating to Sandwell schools. 

Response:

Please see attached table that provides all information requested apart
from “Number of Staff”.  Schools use a range of payroll and HR providers
and therefore direct contact would need to be made to each school to
request the information.

With reference to the number of pupils, the table has been split into two
columns: part time which covers nursery pupils and full time which covers
all other pupils – for your information our pupil numbers are provided
from our “School Summary Count January 2023”, which provides pupil numbers
within our schools at that point in time.

Please note, this response and any documents which are enclosed are
protected by copyright laws, which means that you do not have an automatic
right to copy or use them other than for private study, non-commercial
research or news reporting. If you want to use the documents for other
purposes, you will usually need the permission of the copyright owner.
Information produced by government departments including items which are
covered by Crown copyright can usually be used under the Open Government
