Request: 
 I'd like to request the following information is revealed: 
- The total number of schools in the local authority. 
- Of these, the number of schools using some form of 'temporary or emergency accommodation' for 
some of their functions, as of 5th September 2023. 
- Examples of temporary accommodation being used (marquee, portacabin, disused office space etc.). 
  
I can confirm that the information requested is held by Buckinghamshire Council. I have detailed 
below the information that is being released to you.   
 
Response: 
  - The total number of schools in the local authority. You can find the information here  
Find my child a school place (buckscc.gov.uk) 
https://services.buckscc.gov.uk/school-admissions/schools 
 
- Of these, the number of schools using some form of 'temporary or emergency accommodation' for 
some of their functions, as of 5th September 2023.  
We are not aware of any maintained school using emergency/temporary accommodation as of 5th 
September 2023. 
 
- Examples of temporary accommodation being used (marquee, portacabin, disused office space etc.) 
Information relating to our Academies/Voluntary Aided schools (Dioceses) schools will need to be 
sought from these schools direct.
