Dear Caerphilly Council,

I would like access to information on school spend on supply staff/teachers from agencies for the last two financial years. I would like to know the spend of each individual school in the LEA both primary and secondary schools and if possible which agencies the money was spent with.

Yours faithfully,

alex champion

Dear Alex Champion,

Thank you for your request dated the 29th April. I apologise for the
delay in responding.

While Caerphilly county borough council does hold financial information
on its schools, unfortunately we do not hold sufficient information to
enable us to accurately separate agency spend on staff/teachers from
other spends.

The schools, which are separate entities from Caerphilly county borough
council for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act, would hold
this information. I enclose a link to our website that contains the
contact of schools within the Caerphilly county borough area, should you
wish to contact these schools direct.

further information needs in the future then please contact me.

Yours sincerely,
