Subject: Freedom of Information request - School uniform supplier details
Dear Hall Green School,
Under the FOI Act I would like to request the following information
regarding the contract with your supplier(s) of sports uniform/kit:
1) How many suppliers do you have a contract with?
Hall Green School doesn't have a contract with any suppliers but are aware
that Clive Marks and Mansuri both supply our PE kit.
2) How was the contract awarded e.g. open competition, direct award? Was
the local authority involved in the tender of this contract?
No contract has been awarded.
3) Date the contract was awarded?
Not applicable.
4) Date the contract will expire?
Not applicable.
5) What competitors, if any, were considered?
Not applicable. The school has never been approached by other uniform
suppliers.
6) What criteria was used to select the supplier?
The school didn't select a specific supplier, so no criteria was used.
7) Does the school profit from the contract, e.g. as a result of uniform
sales? If yes, what remuneration is received?
Not applicable as no contract in place. The school doesn't profit from
any supplier selling our uniform.
8) If the school has not entered into a contract with the supplier(s),
what is the nature of the agreement in place?
No agreement in place. Many years ago, Clive Marks got in touch with the
school to ask if they could attend our Induction Evening where new pupils
were attending; this is something that has continued.
9) Does the contract contain any clauses relating to the cost or
affordability of items?
Not applicable.
10) Please provide a copy of the contract with commercially sensitive
details redacted.
Not applicable.
Please note that redaction costs cannot be counted towards any cost limits
under the FOI Act.
