Thank you for your e-mail dated 24th June 2018 requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

Request:
‘Please list all surveys carried out over the last three years and provide the raw anonymised data along with a summary of the results of the survey, this would include statistics in relation to parents, pupils and staff along with statistics regarding their views.’

Response:
Section 12 of FOIA makes provision for public authorities and schools to refuse requests for information where the cost of dealing with them would exceed the appropriate limit, which is set at £450. This equates to 18 hours of staff time at a rate of £25 per hour.

Due to the vast number and variety of surveys the school undertakes, we believe that complying with your request will exceed the cost and time limit prescribed under S.12. Furthermore, the FOIA does not require public bodies (including schools) to create new information, therefore we would not be in a position to comply with your request for a summary of any information, unless the information already exists in recorded form. Therefore, this request will not be processed further; however, you may wish to refine your request by narrowing its scope by being more specific about what information you are seeking to obtain and whether there are any key dates or a period in time that will help narrow the search.
