School Supply Spend

The request was partially successful.

Dear Kent County Council,

Please provide me with a full breakdown of the spend for the last financial year 2011/2012 of all temporary/supply staff in schools throughout Kent.

Could you put this data onto three spreadsheets:
One for Primary schools
One for Secondary Schools
One for SEN Schools

If possible could you break this down to show the individual
supplier each school has used to obtain these services and the
total that each school has spent with each supplier.

Yours faithfully,

Kelly Logsdail

Kent County Council

Dear Ms Logsdail

Thank you for your request for information. Please find Kent County
Council's response attached.

KCC has been able to answer your request for a full breakdown of the spend
for the last financial year 2011/2012 of all temporary/supply staff in
schools throughout Kent for Local Authority schools only.

Unfortunately, KCC does not hold information on the suppliers used by
these schools to obtain temporary and supply staff . This information is
held by the individual schools and therefore you may wish to contact them
directly. I have provided a link which will assist you in this:

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link

on our website. Please quote reference FOI/12/1539.

If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner’s website
