I am interested in the amounts paid by each school in
Bracknell Forest Council's area to third parties in relation
to temporary teaching staffing cover.

I would like to receive an electronic breakdown of amounts paid through the department's purchase ledger by school.

I would like the information to cover the year 2010 / 2011.

Notes:
1. I would like the information in electronic format. This should avoid any printing cost issues.

2. In order to avoid your having to collate information from
peripheral systems, I am willing to accept information only from your main system.

3. The information I require for each school is: School Name; Supplier name and total amount paid.

I am instructed that the council does not hold this information as all
bills are paid by individual schools who retain invoices. Therefore the
council holds no information on companies paid or the amounts.

The Regulations require schools to provide the authority with a financial summary each year of all expenditure. The details I would like to obtain are those under the CFR headings E02 (Supply Teachers), E08 (Indirect employee expenses), E10 Supply Teacher Insurance and E26 (Agency Supply Staff).

I apologise for the misunderstandings in relation to this request.

For background; the Council uses an electronic accounting system; I am
instructed that it does not hold payments to employment agencies (your
question 3), neither names or amounts, as payments are made locally by the
schools. The Council does hold a summary total of the spend, but not the
information you have requested at question 3.

I do not intend to be unhelpful. In order to resolve the issue and provide
you with the information you require please may I suggest the following
solution: The council provides you with the information it holds; the
summary total for E02, E08, E10 and E26. Please note, this will not
contain the name of agencies or amounts paid. If you require more detailed
information, this will be held by the schools and you should contact them
directly.

If you are dissatisfied with the way your request has been handled and
wish the council to reconsider it's handling of the situation please say
and the internal review process will be initialised.

I am extremely unimpressed about how long this has taken to get to me. You have still not provided the information I requested. I need it broken down by school. I can see that many other councils have provided spreadsheets of this data, as early as September 5th.

Please provide this data ASAP, or I will have no choice but to request an internal review.
