School Supply Spend

The request was partially successful.

Dear St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please can you confirm the total spend on third party agencies for the provision of supply staff by your local authority.

I would like to know the amounts paid by each school/nursery/ and SEND education provision in the local authority, in relation to temporary staffing cover (Teachers, Cover Supervisors, Unqualified Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses etc).

The time frames I require are from 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018 and from 1st September 2018 and 1st October 2018.

Please could you supply this information (in excel) for each school or Alternative Education Provisions including school name, type of school, amount spent, and the company this money was paid to.

Many thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Simon Trenholm

Apologies for the delay in responding. Please find attached the response
to your FOI request. The Council does not hold information on how much
each school spends with specific agencies, this would need to be requested
from individual schools.

Many thanks
