School Supply Spend 08/09 and 09/10

The request was successful.

Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,

I am interested in the amounts paid by each school in
Blackburn with Darwen LEA to third parties in relation to temporary
staffing cover. My hope is to receive an electronic breakdown of
amounts paid through the department's purchase ledger by school. I have searched and found data for only Blackburn, and not Darwen.

Notes:
1. I would like the information in electronic format. This should
avoid any printing cost issues.
2. In order to avoid your having to collate information from
peripheral systems, I am willing to accept information only from
your main system (I would like you to advise which system this is).
By main system I mean the system that handles the largest part of
the department's expenditure. If supplier payments are made through
separate systems, then I would like you to choose the main system
for each.
3. The information I require for each school is: School Name;
Supplier name and total amount paid.
4. I would like the information to cover the years 2008/9 and 2009/10.

Yours faithfully,

Cordelia

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for your response. The information we have requested is provided to you under the "Consistent Financial Reporting Regulations 2003" – please see this link for your reference. http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/admi...

The Regulations require schools to provide the authority with a financial summary each year of all expenditure. The details I would like to obtain are those under the CFR headings E02 (Supply Teachers), E08 (Indirect employee expenses), E10 Supply Teacher Insurance and E26 (Agency Supply Staff).

Yours sincerely,

Cordelia

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you cannot provide details of the specific agencies, and that's fine, but I would still like a simple document stating the school spend on temporary staff.

I look forward to receiving the document.

Yours sincerely,

Cordelia
