School supply agency spend for 2016/2017

Simon Russell made this Freedom of Information request to Southampton City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Southampton City Council,

Please provide me with a full breakdown of the spend for the last
school academic year 2016/2017 of all temporary/supply staff in
schools throughout Southampton.

Could you put this data onto two spreadsheets: One for Primary
schools and one for Secondary Schools.

If possible could you break this down to show the individual
supplier each school has used to obtain these services and the
total that each school has spent with each supplier.

If the last academic year is unavailable, then if you could provide the details for the financial year of 2016/2017.

Yours faithfully,

Simon Russell

Dear Mr. Russell,

Further to the email below, I can confirm that I have completed the
internal review of your FOI request. Having liaised with service areas
within the Council, I have established that the Council does hold this
information, and I attach an updated response.

I apologise for an incorrect response being issued initially. Due to
recent restructuring within the Council, several teams have move
directorates, and it appears that a breakdown in communication led to the
request being sent to the wrong team for a response.

I trust you are now satisfied with the Council’s response, however, but if
I can assist you further, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
