I write in response to your Freedom of Information request received on 3
March 2015. You asked;

 

                1. How many School Sports Partnerships was in existence in
England at the start of 2010.

is given to each School Sports Partnership annually.

 

The School Sports Partnerships was a central government initiative run and
funded by the Department for Education (DfE), Sport England holds only
limited and approximate information regarding the scheme.

 

                1. In 2010 there were around 450 partnerships

 

                2. The DfE has discontinued central funding for School
Sport Partnerships at the end of the academic year 2010/11.  Some School
Sport Partnerships have continued through local funding.  We do not hold
information on the number of School Sport Partners in existence in England
today.

 

                3. We do not hold this information
