Freedom of Information Act 2000, Reference: FOI-10226-2021 The council has completed its search relating to your request about educational placements for children with
an EHCP received on Wed, 01 Sep 2021.
Request Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like you to supply me with the information requested for
the previous academic year – 2020/2021.
Please can you provide me with the name of the current educational placement (school) of any young people,
16 years of age and under, with educational health care (EHCP) plans or statements, placed in independent
or non-maintained provision?
I would ask you to provide the information in an excel document, broken down under the fol owing headings:
Category of Need (SEMH, ASD, etc.)
Name of School
Type of placement - (Day or residential placement)
Cost of placement per year
Response The council does hold information within the definition of your request.

Please note: As the Council’s accounts are prepared on a financial basis the figures are for costs incurred in
the financial year 2020/21 ending 31 March 2021 and includes children aged 16 and under as at 31 March
2021. Where the costs in the year relate to more than one placement the number of placements have been
included. As the costs shown relate to the costs due in the financial year they include part-year costs for 1/2
placements that have started or ended during the financial year therefore the number of ful time equivalent
placements have been provided. Please also see definition for each category of need listed.
