Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 12th November 2015. You requested an ‘Excel spreadsheet containing the following fields: Local Authority Number, School Number, School Name, Establishment Type (i.e. Community School, Nursery, Voluntary Aided School, etc.) Establishment Phase (i.e. Primary, Secondary), MIS Software used and Number of pupils on roll.

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

An Excel spreadsheet containing the information requested is enclosed. The spreadsheet contains the local authority number, establishment number, school name, establishment type, establishment phase, software supplier code and the number of pupils in each school. It is not possible to provide the software supplier name as this is information is not held. However, the included software supplier code contains the software supplier name in the majority of cases.

I have provided data from the autumn school census 2015.

The information supplied to you continues to be protected by copyright. You are free to use it for your own purposes, including for private study and non-commercial research, and for any other purpose authorised by an exception in current copyright law. Documents (except photographs) can be also used in the UK without requiring permission for the purposes of news reporting.
