How many children have been refused a school lunch because of parent debt or unable to pay?
Please provide figures for the following academic years.

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Council under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Under the Freedom of Information Act the authority must state whether or
not the information exists and I confirm that we do not hold this
information.
You requested:
How many children have been refused a school lunch because of parent debt
or unable to pay?
Please provide figures for the following academic years.

Response: You will need to contact the individual schools directly for
this information. I have attached a copy of the Schools Establishment
Guide, for your information. Schools will have local arrangements with
their school meal provider to determine how parental debt for school meals
is managed. Schools will determine whether or not it is appropriate to
continue to provide a meal in these circumstances.
If for whatever reason you are unhappy with our response to your
application you are entitled to pursue any dissatisfaction through the
Council's Internal Review Procedure. Pursuant to Section 17 (7) of the
Act the procedure provided by the Council for dealing with complaints
about the determination of this request for information is the Council’s
