Dear Conwy County Borough Council,

I make this request for information under the foi rules and procedures.

Please can you supply me with a list of contractors from September 2023 to date who undertake school contracts using taxi's or taxi minibuses. By this i do not need information on bus companies who are governed by PSV licences and rules. The information required also needs to show if the contract is still live.

Example of info required.

ABC TAXIS, 5 Contracts. 4 live currently running - 1 Finished
JO Bloggs Cabs, 1 Contract. 1 Live Contract running.
Smart Taxis. 10 Contracts. 8 Live Contracts. - 2 Finished

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Information request 15744

Please accept our apologies for the delay in our response.

Your request for information has been considered and I can confirm that
Conwy County Borough Council hold the information requested. However, we
are withholding the information as we consider that the following
exemptions apply:

This information is exempt from disclosure under Section 12 - Cost of
compliance exceeds the appropriate limit.

The appropriate limit is specified in the Freedom of Information and Data
Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004 which for local
government is set at £450. This represents the estimated cost of one
person spending 18 working hours in determining whether the service holds
the information, together with locating, retrieving and extracting the
information. 

 

It is estimated that it would take in excess of 38 working hours to
determine the appropriate material and locate, retrieve and extract the
information in reference to your request. Consequently, CCBC is not
obliged under section 12 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to
respond to your request as it stands and please accept this correspondence
as a refusal notice under S17

 

You may wish to consider refining your request by narrowing its scope by
being more specific about what information you particularly wish to
obtain, including any dates or period of time relevant to the information
required. 

 

Conwy County Borough Council now considers that it has complied with your
request. However, you have a right to appeal if you are dissatisfied with
our response. Requests for an internal review must be made in writing and
within 40 calendar days of this response being issued to you. When
requesting an internal review, please include your reference number, the
date of your original request and your contact details. Please also
include an explanation of why you are dissatisfied with our response.
