School Cluster Groups and Federations with in Local Authority
Dear Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council,
I would like to make a request under the freedom of information act
to obtain information regarding School Cluster Groups and/or Federations of schools within the local authority. I would appreciate the following information please:
-Names of Cluster Groups and Federations
-Which Schools are in each Cluster/Federation
-The name of the lead School with in each Cluster or Federation if possible.

RESPONSE
Poole response:
Some Poole schools were part of the Poole Schools Association but this
cluster group closed recently when Poole became part of BCP Council. A
replacement group for BCP Council has not yet been set up.
Schools in our area can work together through a range of clusters but the
Council does not hold information about these clusters, they are
school-led.
Bournemouth & Christchurch response:
We only have Linwood School in Bournemouth which is not a federation or
cluster because they call their satellite locations "campus". The
Christchurch schools are not federated.
