Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) 
 
The council has considered your request which was received on 31 July 2019 and our 
response to your questions is shown below. 
 
I am interested in finding out the amounts paid by all Secondary Schools in 
Nottingham city Council LEA in relation to temporary agency staffing cover. 
 
Please provide an electronic breakdown of amounts paid by school for the last 
academic year (September 2018 - July 2019) 
 
Please can you supply the following information in an excel spread sheet 
format:-

In accordance with section 1(1) of the Act the council has a duty to confirm whether it 
holds the information of the description specified in the request, and if that is the case, 
to have the information communicated to the requester. 
 
The council only had one maintained school for the time period requested.

The council is unable to breakdown the spend by individual supplier, this is because 
this information is not held centrally by the council. The council does not hold this 
information for academies. Therefore under section 1 of the Act this information 
cannot be provided. 
 
In accordance with section 16(1) of the Act, the council has a duty to provide advice 
and assistance to you, so far as it is reasonable to do so. All schools are subject to
