Dear Wolverhampton City Council,

Could you please provide me with the agency spend for all schools, including primary, secondary, sen, pru's, Academys and nursery's and alternative education settings
for Academic year September 2017- August 2018 and September 2018-present ideally split by the total cost, agency names and cost per agency.

If cost cannot be broken down please can you provide a total amount spent per school

I am emailing you in relation to the Freedom of Information request you submitted on 22 January 2019.

I note that this is a duplicate of WCC/FOI/001848 which we received on 8 January 2018, in which we advised you that the information you have requested is not held by the Local Authority, therefore this is a formal refusal under Section 14 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which states:

Under Section 14(2) of the Act, a public authority does not have to comply with a request which is identical, or substantially similar to a previous request submitted by the same individual. There is no public interest test.

As we have already issued you with a response to WCC/FOI/001848, and confirmed that this information is not held, we consider this matter closed.

Thank you as Schools process payments through the Council can you please clarify that you cannot provide a breakdown per school of the amount spent of temporary staffing in total per school, I understand individual suppliers information and breakdown may not be held.

We don't process payments for all schools, each individual school holds and processes its own budgets, they are also responsible for their own recruitment.

I can confirm that the City of Wolverhampton cannot provide you with the breakdown you require.
