Dear Health and Safety Executive,

One month ago I sent to your office an inquiry regarding domestic hot water tank scalding incidents and how I pointed out a scenario that you the HSE had not identified nor have made known as being such. NOTIFICATION ID: 07086AF2DE.

So this request sent now... is for the statistics you have, regarding all recorded incidents you have been called to investigate or have been notified of, involving death or personal injury due in part or wholly to scalding water from loft tanks and or hot water heating tanks in domestic properties.

There are at least 2 involving fatal injuries.

Please note... I only request the statistics of death and or injury and not any precise incident details.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Bartlett
