Dear Mr Woodley

Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Further to your request for information received at this office on 11^th
October, I write to advise you that the information that you have
requested is not held by Bolton Council.

You requested information relating to commercial properties not receiving
small business rate relief in 2012, namely:

a)    company name, addresses and rateable values of Commercial properties
that are within your Council with rateable values between £5,000 to £8,000
who are eligible for, but not currently receiving small business rate
relief; and

b)   the names of the owners of those properties referred to in (a); and

c)     the relevant billing authority reference number as referred to in
(a)

Small business rate relief is available to ratepayers who occupy either

-       one property in England,

or

-       one main property and other additional properties in England
providing the additional properties each have a rateable value less than
£2,600 and the total value of all properties is less than £18,000 on every
day for which relief is being sought.

The records held only cover the Bolton Council area; therefore,
eligibility could only be confirmed with input from the ratepayer.
