This is a FOI Request in respect of the Public Toilets on Ferry Road as discussed in this article:

Please confirm as follows:

1. Who decided to close these specific toilets.
2. Was any consultation carried out? If yes, please provide details. If no, why not?
3. How many complaints have the council received between the years 2011 and 2017 (to date). Please separate the number and nature of complaints for each year.
4. How many complaints has the council received specifically in relation to the closure of these toilets.

A council spokesman said "the toilets cost £12,000 a year to run annually and are in need of refurbishment."
Please confirm the following:

5. How much have the toilets cost to run for each year 2011-2017.
6. How the £12,000 figure is reached.
7. What services and undertaken on this toilet.
8. What refurbishment is needed? Who has made this assessment? Please provide a copy of this assessment. How much is the refurbishment estimated at?
