Samsung spent of awards ceremonies.

The request is waiting for clarification. If you are Jonathan Barrett, please sign in to send a follow up message.

Dear South Wales Police,

Can you please provide information on how much has been spent on award ceremonies for South Wales police in the last financial year? As well as the cost of the awards themselves I would appreciate if you could include the cost of the ceremonies and entertainment and the cost both in man hours and the cost of paying those that attend, as I assume that police officers attend as a part of thier working day.

Yours faithfully,

Jon Barrett

Dear Mr Barrett,

I write in relation to your request 832/14 requesting: cost of award
ceremonies.

It is not possible to progress your request at this time, as clarification
is needed from you to enable us to locate the information you have asked
for.

Staff and Officers attend award ceremonies as part of normal duties or on
their own time if they are not scheduled to work on that day. To calculate
the actual cost of paying those who attended as part of their normal
duties would require us to individually check each staff/ officers pay
ranks and pay grade. This would exceed the 18 hour fees limit. Therefore
are you happy to remove the part of the request regarding man hours and
the cost of paying those that attend and we will supply you with all the
remaining information?

In line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Section 10(6), the 20
working day timescale will be suspended until the required clarification
has been received, restarting on the date when the information is
received.  If we do not receive clarification from you then your request
will be closed 20 working days from the date of this email.

Kind regards,
