For ease of reference I have reproduced your numbered points below and

However, in response to your references to ‘part privatisation’, it is
important to explain that no sale has taken place. The Manchester Airport
Group PLC (MAG) has been restructured to accommodate the capital
investment required to deliver the Airport’s strategy for growth. In
return for this investment the Industry Funds Management (IFM) Global
Infrastructure Fund has a 35.5% interest in the enlarged group. Your
request for information has been answered on this basis. For more

Nil as no sale of shares was involved. In return for the investment in MAG
new shares have been issued with the effect of reducing the Council’s
percentage of the whole.

The Council did not undertake any public consultation as there was no
statutory requirement to do so. As a shareholder the Council was consulted
by the MAG.

 

6.What was the total cost of legal advice and services relating to the
part privatisation of Manchester Airport in March 2013?

 

The Council did not incur any external costs for legal advice.

 

7.What was the total cost of accounting services relating to the part
privatisation of Manchester Airport in March 2013?

 

The collective amount incurred on behalf of the 10 Greater Manchester
authorities by Manchester City Council was £225,172. 

 

8.Please name all Council employees and Councillors involved in the
decision to part privatise Manchester Airport.

 

The decision to support MAGs recommendation for an investment partner on
condition of acquiring another quality Airport was made by the City Mayor
with the full backing of Cabinet.

 

9.What company or companies were involved in buying part of Manchester
Airport from the Council?

 

As stated earlier, the company selected for the capital restructure by MAG
of the Manchester Airport PLC Group is Industry Funds Management (IFM)
Global Infrastructure Fund.

 

10.How many other companies were offered the chance to buy part of
Manchester Airport?

 

The Council understands that the MAG undertook a rigorous selection
process for an investment partner.

 

11.What was the bidding process for the part privatisation of Manchester
Airport in March 2013?
