As part of a divorce settlement, I need to know the sale price of Woodbine Cottage in Butcher's Lane, Aughton, Lancs.
Year of sale 1993. Unfortunately your online records do not go back that far.

Thank you for your email of 08 March 2020 where you requested information about the sale price of Woodbine Cottage, Butcher's Lane, Aughton, Lancs.

The department requires further information in order to identify and locate the information that you have asked for. I will not be able to take this matter further without extra information from you. In particular, it would be useful to know the postcode and title number of the property if known.

Once you have clarified your request, I will be able to begin to process your request. If I do not receive clarification within three months your request will be considered to have lapsed. (Under section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), a public authority need not comply with a request unless any further information reasonably required to locate the information is supplied).

information about the sale price of Woodbine Cottage, Butcher’s Lane,
Aughton, Lancashire, L39 6SY.

I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and
electronic records, I have established that HM Land Registry does not hold
the information you requested for the time period required.

However, I can confirm the following sale prices for the following dates;

18 June 2001 - £194,000

17 February 2005 - £350,000

 

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me.

If you are dissatisfied with this response to your request, you may seek
an internal review within two months of the date of our reply. Internal
reviews will be dealt within 20 working days. If at the end of this time
we are unable to respond, we will write to you explaining the reasons and
giving you a new date. If you seek an internal review please write to:
