1. The former Children's Home at Chance Drive, Smethwick, B66 1TT sold for
£504,500. 2. The opinion of value was circa £280,000. 3. The sale price
achieved was the highest bid. 4. This is not applicable as the property
sold for the highest bid.
 
 
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the

submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your

We received your request for an internal review of an Freedom of
Information request you originally submitted on 22nd June due to a failure
to receive a response within the statutory time scale. Your original
request asked: 1) Please provide the price that this was sold for in
2013-14 2) What price range did the agent selling the property advise
would be achieved prior to sale taking place 3) was the sale price the
highest bid? 4) If not the highest bid why was it sold for less that the
highest bid Having liaised with the responding service area, I can confirm
that you should now have received a full response to your request
confirming the following answers: 1. The former Children's Home at Chance
Drive, Smethwick, B66 1TT sold for £504,500. 2. The opinion of value was
circa £280,000. 3. The sale price achieved was the highest bid. 4. This is
not applicable as the property sold for the highest bid. This was sent out
to you 2nd August, 9 days over the statutory deadline date prescribed in
the Freedom of Information Act. Please accept our apologies for the delay,
I can confirm that this appears to have been down to officers absence. As
you have now received the information I have concluded your original
internal review. If you wish to submit a further request for a review
based on the response you have received to your original FOI request,
