Sale of College Assets
Dear North Highland College,
1) Please provide me with a list of all the publicly-owned assets that your institution has sold in the previous five years, in Excel spreadsheet form.
Please include the criteria included in Edinburgh City Council's Asset Register: http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/downloads/fi...
For each sold asset, please also include:
–The sale price
–The buyer
–The date of sale
2) Please provide me with a list if all all the assets currently owned by your institution in the same format (or please provide a link if publicly available).
Yours faithfully,
Jamie Mann

Hi Struan
Sorry to bother you again but I was just hoping to clarify something.
Some public bodies have insisted that their assets are not publicly-owned, and that no public assets can therefore have been sold. However, I was working on the assumption that all the assets of public bodies are publicly-owned.
As such, please can you confirm whether any land or property assets owned by the college have been sold within the last five years?
Thanks again,
Jamie Mann
Good morning Jamie,
North Highland College completed this request for assets under the control (owned) by the College, so whether or not they are regarded as 'public' was not taken into account.
As such, in both instances, the College has not sold any assets in the last five years.
I hope this offers you some clarity.
