Dear Whitchurch Town Council,

I am conducting research into the salaries paid to town clerks in Shropshire. Please could you supply me with the current salary of your town clerk plus pension payments, or, if this is not allowed, the salary scale.
This is an FOI request, it is not intended as any invasion of privacy, but to be able to make a comparison with other salaries paid to town clerks.

The salary scale for the Town Clerk at Whitchurch is under the NJC payments and is a PO grade starting at SCP scale 36. A pension is available from Shropshire Council Local Government Pension scheme.
