I can confirm that your request will be processed under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Environmental Information Regulations (Scotland) 2004, or the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009.

Q2. How many employees does the City of Edinburgh Council have who earn between £50000 and £59,999 per annum?

A2. 323.

Q3. How many employees does the City of Edinburgh Council have who earn between £40000 and £49,999 per annum?

A3. 1,262.

This includes all Council employees (LGE and teaching) and data was extracted at 20 Feb 2018. The above figures are total positions/employees and not FTE.
