Dear Woodpecker Hall Primary Academy

In line with the government’s view that transparency is the foundation of local accountability and parallel with the Local Government Transparency Code 2015 (sections 48 & 49), published on 27 February 2015, I am requesting the following data about Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust’s employees with cost code Woodpecker Hall Primary Academy.

1/ the number of staff whose remuneration in the last year was at least £50,000 in brackets of £5,000;

2/ details of remuneration and job titles of senior employees whose remuneration in that year was at least £50,000 in brackets of £5,000;

3/ the name of any staff member whose salary is £150,000 or more;

4/ details of bonuses and ‘benefits in kind’ for all staff based at Woodpecker Hall Academy whose salaries exceed £50,000.

Your request for information dated 2^nd September and received on 3rd
September 2015, has now been considered and has been handled under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We will respond to each of your questions below. With regard to Woodpecker
Hall Academy, you asked:

 

1/ the number of staff whose remuneration in the last year was at least
£50,000 in brackets of £5,000; and

 

2/ details of remuneration and job titles of senior employees whose
remuneration in that year was at least £50,000 in brackets of £5,000;

 

For the period September 2014 to August 2015

£50,000 - £55,000                   1          Deputy Head Teacher

£65,000 - £70,000                   1          Head Teacher

3/ the name of any staff member whose salary is £150,000 or more;

 

None

4/ details of bonuses and ‘benefits in kind’ for all staff based at
Woodpecker Hall Academy whose salaries exceed £50,000.

 

All teachers are eligible to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme details of
which are available on-line [1]www.teacherspensions.co.uk 

 

Additionally, there is a recruitment and retention scheme available to all
qualifying teachers, including those whose salaries exceed £50,000. Those
eligible receive a payment of £1,200 in September. There are not
additional bonuses for staff whose salary exceeds £50,000.

 

We trust that our response is useful. If you are dissatisfied with the
handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal
review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of
the date of receipt of this response and should be addressed
