Dear Michael Carroll-Owen,
Thank you for your request for information. Due to the coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic the Council has to prioritise it’s resources and
services in dealing with this unprecedented situation. Accordingly, we are
writing to advise you that there will be a delay in processing your
request. We regret this but we have no alternative in the circumstances.
We will review the situation on a regular basis and advise you when the
situation changes.
The situation has been considered by the Information Commissioners Office
and their advice is as follows:
“If you’ve made a Freedom of Information request from a public body or
made a subject access request (SAR) for your own information, you should
expect delays in response. That’s because organisations’ are diverting
their resources to help with other challenges.”
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Yours Sincerely
