Between the dates of 1st Jan 2020 and 1st of February 2021 how many safeguarding referrals* have been received from the following organisations "Department for Work & Pensions", "Centre for Health & Disability Assessments also known as Maximus", "ATOS also known as Independent Assessment Services" and "Capita"?

Thank you for your request to the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple
(the Inn) for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. You
asked to be provided with the following information:
Between the dates of 1st Jan 2020 and 1st of February 2021 how many
safeguarding referrals* have been received from the following
organisations "Department for Work & Pensions", "Centre for Health &
Disability Assessments also known as Maximus", "ATOS also known as
Independent Assessment Services" and "Capita"?
*Adult Safeguarding Referrals only
Part II of Schedule 1 of The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides that
only information produced by the Under Treasurer of the Middle Temple, and
their staff, in their capacity as a local authority is covered by the Act.
It does not extend to information generated by the Inn as a private body.
The Under Treasurer of the Inn exercises a small number of local authority
functions, with the remainder being delegated to the responsibility of the
City of London. Information about which functions are still provided by
the Inn and which are delegated to the City of London can be found on the
Inn’s website here:

The information that you have requested relates to local government
functions that were delegated to the City Corporation under the Temples
Order of 1971 and are not provided by the Inn.
