Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults: All policies, procedures, guidelines, or other relevant documents that pertain to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults within the Open University over the past three years.

I understand that under the Act, I should be entitled to a response within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your full and prompt response.

If my request is denied in whole or in part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the Act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material.

• We also provide guidance  to staff in relation to safeguarding via our

I confirm we have redacted personal data of third parties from this
document in line with Section 40(2) of the FOIA, whereby releasing the
information would breach Data Protection Legislation.

 

The staff relevant to your request are not in the public domain and it is
not the reasonable expectation of those staff members that their
information is so released into the wider world and to do so would
contravene the principle of fairness and transparency set down in both the
Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation.
