Dear Wandsworth Borough Council,

In 2012 the following request was made by a Mr Reynolds
Freedom of Information Act request – 2012/6731 – Safeguarding
The answer given in 2012 is also below following his request

Do you have any plans for setting up an Adult’s Multi Agency Safeguarding
Hub?

Wandsworth will plan setting up MASH in line with London Safeguarding
Adults Network. It is understood that 1 London Borough is in process of
setting up adults MASH and other boroughs, including Wandsworth, will
develop based on learning from this example.

Anticipate within 12 months, subject to London Safeguarding Adults Network
development covered above.

Please advise if the Adult’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub that was stated would be set up within 12 months of 2012 has been done?

Who are the members of that hub
Please supply the recorded information re the Mash policy/guidelines being followed
and any recent meetings minutes

As is the case for almost all London boroughs, Wandsworth has decided not
to introduce an Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub at this point, but
will continue to review this option.
