The response for the FOI is as follows:

The SAB response to the full submission is generally within the statutory
determination period of 7 weeks. There are instances where the supplied
information falls short of what is expected in order to gain SAB approval.
In these instances, comments are made, and the response time of the
designer factors into the overall time to grant SAB approval. In these
cases, it is typical that the approval can take 6 months, but it is
heavily dependent on the response times of the designers.

For the 2022/23 year, what was the average time for residential
developments to receive SAB approval?

I can confirm that we hold information that falls within the scope of your
request. The answers to your questions have been provided in red text

The SAB response to the full submission is generally within the statutory
determination period of 7 weeks.
