S.444 Education Act -prosecution cost

Can you please provide the response to the following questions:
1. How many parents have been prosecuted under section 444(1) within last two years?
2. How many of those parents pleaded not guilty and went on trial?
3. What is the average cost of such when parents plead not guilty and face trial?
4.How many times during the last 4 year period Kent County Council used external law firm?
5. Please provide the reasons for instructing barristers?
6. Please provide the name of the person who authorised use of external barristers for prosecution under s.444 (1)

1. How many parents have been prosecuted under section 444(1) within last
two years? 1478 (in academic years 15/16 & 16/17 to date).
2. How many of those parents pleaded not guilty and went on trial? 8.
3. What is the average cost of such when parents plead not guilty and face
trial? £500.
4. How many times during the last 4 year period Kent County Council used
external law firm? 0.
5. Please provide the reasons for instructing barristers? N/A.
6. Please provide the name of the person who authorised use of external
barristers for prosecution under s.444 (1) N/A.
