Rural postal routes
Dear Postal Services Commission,
Please give me the (maps or data) Original Rural postal routes for South Devon, and if you are unable to do so, please would you tell me who is?
Thank you
Yours faithfully, nova mann
Dear Ms Mann
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request about rural
postal routes in South Devon. Unfortunately we do not hold this
information. Royal Mail should be best placed to help you. You can
contact them by ringing customer services on 08457 740 740 or emailing
them on [1][email address].
We do however always take into consideration the interests of people
living in rural areas when making policy or taking decisions. We monitor
the provision of the universal postal service in rural areas and work to
ensure that the quality of the service received is as good as
possible.
I’m sorry I cannot be of more help but I hope you feel we have done our
best to answer your question. If you are unhappy with the answer or the
way we have dealt with your enquiry, you can request an internal review by
our Director of Resources, Colin Sharples. The contact address is Postal
Services Commission, Hercules House, Hercules Road, London, SE1 7DB; or
if you wish you can email: [Postcomm request email] .
Or if you feel it would be more appropriate you can contact the
Information Commissioner who can review your case. Generally, the
Information Commissioner's Office cannot make a decision unless you have
already been through the complaints procedure we provide. The best ways to
contact the Information Commissioner’s Office are either by telephoning
them on 0303 123 1113 (9am-5pm Monday to Friday) or by emailing them at
[email address]
If there is any other information you would like, then please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
Jonathan Pillinger
