Dear Julian
Thank you for your request for information received on 19^th June 2016.
You requested:
1. I would like an electronic copy of the RFSS Travel Plan
We have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Unfortunately, this is not information we hold. Further specifics are
provided below:
Travel plans are not a statutory requirement for schools. However,
Knowledge School Trust recognises the benefits of implementing such a plan
as we believe it will benefit the school community and the wider area.
As we are a school that is yet to open and considering the nature of free
schools, information regarding our pupils and their travel arrangements is
still emerging. As a Trust we have worked with the Local authority to
ensure that all our pupils have the same access to the LA bus service
available to their peers in the town. During additional consultation that
concluded on 12^th July 2016 we asked parents about their likely travel
preferences. Once analysed, this information will be included in further
travel planning.
If you have any queries about this information please contact us. If you
are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should make a
complaint to the Trust by writing to us within two calendar months of the
date of this response. Your complaint will be considered by an independent
review panel, who were not involved in the original consideration of your
request.
If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint to the Trust,
you may then contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Regards
Knowledge School Trust
