Royal Corps of Army Music

The request was refused by British Army.

Dear British Army,

In 2020, the Corps of Army Music (later Royal) was completely reorganised, with many old bands being disbanded. As a result there are now very few bands, including but limited to the Sandhurst and Catterick Bands. My question is regarding these bands, could you provide a list of the former bands (before the changes) and successor bands (currently) along with their location and any uniform distinctions for the new bands which differ from the standard CAMUS No. 1 uniform. In addition, could you advise if the CAMUS will be receiving new Full Dress uniforms, are will they be maintaining their current No. 1 Blues dress. Lastely, could you provide a list of Army bands before the 2003 reductions (so those bands active in 2020). Please note, for my questions I'm referring to the regular bands, not the Territorial (now Army Reserve) bands.

Yours faithfully,

Justin Zacchi

Dear Army Sec-Group (MULTIUSER),

Hello, so in regard to that part, I'm referring to the bands in 2002 (before the 2003 reductions), which according to my information didn't change till the 2020 changes. If these are different, a list of the bands in 2002 and they changes by 2020 would also suffice.

Yours sincerely,

Justin Zacchi
