FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000

 

With reference to your request received on 16 November 2016 about Royal
Charters, the Council hold a copy of a Charter of Incorporation granted by
HM King Edward VII in 1902 and I attach a copy herewith.

Rye was granted a Royal Charter but we do not hold this Charter.  You may
care to contact Rye Town Council to see if they hold the document.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of the request please contact us

internal review you have the right to make a complaint to the Information
