Rough Sleeping Support Service

Aaron Walawalkar made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Home Office,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I would like to receive information relating to the registered users of the Rough Sleeping Support Service (RSSS), the number of referrals they have made and the outcomes of all immigration matter resolutions since the service was established in 2018.

Each of these details are referenced in the RSSS user agreement: (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk...)

Please provide the following information:

1) A list of the names of all organisations that have registered as an RSSS user from 2018 to date and the date each one was registered

2) The number of RSSS-2 referral proformas that have been submitted each month from 2018 to date.

3) The total number of "immigration matter resolutions" each month following an RSSS referral from 2018 to date. Please break this data down according to the outcome of the resolution which, according to the RSSS user agreement document, could include:
- confirmation of lawful basis to remain in UK
- grant of leave to remain in UK
- election to voluntarily return
- Removal or deportation from the UK

Please provide this data in Excel spreadsheet format.

If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as soon as possible, as I understand that under the Act you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

I understand that you are required to respond to my request within the 20 working days after you receive this letter. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.

Yours sincerely,

Aaron Walawalkar

Dear Immigration Enforcement Secretariat,

Thank you for your response to my request (ref: 61096).

I would like to make a further request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please could you provide the following information:

1/ A list of names of all organisations that have submitted a registration form to become an RSSS user from the RSSS’ launch to date (15 January 2021), and the date each form was submitted.

2/ A list of names of all organisations who were successfully registered as RSSS users from its launch to date (15 January 2021) and the date each one was registered.

3/ A copy of all completed RSSS-2 referral proformas that have been submitted to the RSSS. I understand these may be redacted for personal information but I ask that you redact only exempted information and justify the use of those exemptions. I also kindly remind you that the time taken for redactions does not contribute towards the cost cap under FOI.

4/ A copy of all completed RSSS-2 referral proformas returned to the requesters/users by the RSSS, confirming the rough sleepers’ immigration statuses. I also understand this may be redacted, as above.

If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as soon as possible, as I understand that under the Act you are required to advise and assist requesters.
