Rosslyn Morgan's response regarding hefin wyn thomas's letter regarding job evaluation

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Isle of Anglesey County Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Rosslyn Morgan ,

Thank you for your resonse to my request regarding the Council's job evaluation scheme. Please could you clarify for me some of your answer;

*** 'I am loathe to make any commitments at present regarding any request for information on jobs and job scores at the end of the process inasmuch that the Council might be in breach of data protection obligations' ***

Are you able to provide me with the post titles and scores not the names and addresses of these staff how would this be a breach of the data protection ruling? Please could you think once again about giving me this requested documents. If you fully intend to withhold this documents from me please state exactly which ruling paragraph under the freedom of information act you are using.

*** 'We prepared a project plan for the review but this developed into a far more useful risk register which we have regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that we have properly prioritised our actions within the overall review. The nature of this document is such that I believe it might be exempt in term of data protection regulations and I do not intend to release it.' ***

Please could you tell me exacrly which paragraph of the data protection ruling would be breached by providing a risk register or project plan unless it names pariclar staff. Please could i have a copy of this risk register under the freedom of information act.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Alister Smythe
