Roll out of the New Domestic Violence Bill published August 2020

We're waiting for Mrs Oppenheimer to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Home Office,

Under the FOIA, I would like to know regarding the domestic abuse bill 2020 to which the policy paper of 17 August 2020 was generated, the following:

When will the Bill officially be legislated and when will the provisions become effective in England & Wales?

As soon as it becomes effective, does it become legal mandate in family courts, as suggested in the policy paper?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Oppenheimer
