Roadworks traffic management correspondence
Dear Cambridgeshire County Council,
Hi. There are today (3rd of July) some roadworks on Kings Hedges Road in Cambridge, outside the Post Office near the Golden Hind and Milton Road.
These roadworks have closed one of the two traffic lanes on approach to the traffic lights, and also the cycle lane.
I'm trying to understand the process by which these kind of roadworks are granted permission, the information provided by the contractor, and the kinds of conditions that are imposed (and advice given) by the council.
Can you please provide me with copies of:
* Any Traffic Regulation Order(s) relating to these roadworks; and
* All correspondence you have exchanged with the organisations responsible for or requesting the works, relating to the traffic management of these roadworks.
I hope this won't take a great deal of your time. If it is nontrivial to find the information I've asked for, please do let me know as I would be happy to discuss how to amend my request to be more convenient for you to deal with.
Thanks in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Ian Jackson
